Phil Best, Nocturnal - A live performance at St Paul's Centre

Local pianist Phil Best will be playing a live show at St Paul’s Centre, Hammersmith, to mark the release of his new album ‘Nocturnal’.

The show, on October 12th at 7.30pm, will include some of Chopin’s Nocturnes together with Phil’s own pieces, including some that are unplanned and improvised on the evening.

Played in his natural, vivid and accessible way with powerful storytelling, these dark and beautifully melodic love songs come to life. They express all kinds of emotions that tend to surface after dark as the human soul yearns for love: desire, rapture, jealousy and passion.

You can listen to Phil talking about his new album here and hear a short improvised nocturne here.
