Where to celebrate Burns Night and Australia Day in Hammersmith
This week, Hammersmith will celebrate the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns and Australia Day. During 22 January and 3 February, Hammersmith pubs will be hosting themed nights with special menus while Hammersmith Town Hall will host two Burns Night evenings of dancing and live music.
The William Morris will be serving traditional Scottish haggis, neeps and tatties to mark Burns’ Night as well as throughout the week, from Saturday 20 until Saturday 27 January (inclusive). For the full selection, click here.
The Swan will be celebrating Burns Night with their special menu between Monday 22 and Sunday 28 January. Delicacies include Scottish smoked salmon, Balmoral chicken and cranachan, as well as the traditional haggis, neeps and tatties. Download the menu.
The Dartmouth Castle are holding a Burns Night & Australia Day Jamboree where they will be serving menu of MacSweens’s Haggis with Mitolo ‘Jester’ Shiraz, available between Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 January. View the menu and contact them to book a table.
This week, the Ceilidh Club will celebrate the ultimate Burns Night celebration with three hours of energetic ceilidh dancing to a live band on the 27 January and 3 February at Hammersmith Town Hall. Find out more and book tickets.
