London Festival of Architecture
During this year's London Festival of Architecture we shall be running a series of events exploring the future of Hammersmith Town Centre - imaginging what the area would be like without the flyover or the gyratory. This will include a Question Time style Flyunder debate, chaired by BBC broadcaster John Humphrys, at the Lyric Hammersmith, an exhibition exploring Hammersmith: Past, Present & Future and an exhibition featuring work of local children who have imagined a Hammersmith of tomorrow. Guided Walks
Get active and learn about the local area by taking part in our Free Guided Walks on Saturday, June 6 and Saturday, July 4. In June our blue badge guide will tell you exactly why Hammersmith in the 1800s was known as Popes Corners and in July, we’ll be celebrating the return of the Great Chiswick River Swim.
