HammersmithLondon Business Improvement District (BID) has won a Best Place Management Award for its work transforming a neglected part of the town centre into a vibrant and ecologically sustainable new pathway and cycle lane. The BID Awards are run by industry experts British BIDs and are held to acknowledge the efforts made by business improvement districts to vitally enhance their chosen areas. HammersmithLondon won the award after receiving 53% of the public vote for helping to create a new green corridor in Talgarth Road in the Best Place Management category.

The head chef at the Stonemason's Arms, Gavin, has won the Fuller’s chef of the year competition, beating just under 200 pubs by cooking a three course meal while being judged in the final along with 5 other contestants by Legendary French chef Pierre Koffman. It’s a great achievement for him and for the Stonemasons.

Hammersmith businesses have overwhelmingly supported the continuation of the town centre’s Business Improvement District (BID) by voting YES for another five years of innovative projects and services. HammersmithLondon recorded its highest ever turnout for a ballot as businesses sent a positive message and a strong seal of approval by voting for a third term of the BID in Hammersmith.
